Research and Policy Office (Think Tank Core)

 

Role: Conducts research, builds capacity, and develops policy recommendations to address pressing educational challenges while securing grants to support educational innovation.

 

Responsibilities:

o Undertake Evidence-Based Studies

Conduct in-depth research on local education issues, focusing on data-driven solutions to address access, equity, and learning outcomes.

o Publish Policy Guidance

Develop and disseminate policy briefs, white papers, and comprehensive reports to guide informed decision-making by stakeholders, including educators, policymakers, and community leaders.

o Pilot Innovative Solutions

Design and implement pilot projects to test innovative educational models, ensuring scalability and sustainability within the community.

o Capacity Building Initiatives

Organize training programs and workshops to empower educators, school administrators, and other stakeholders with the skills and knowledge to implement research-based interventions.

o Grant Acquisition

Identify funding opportunities and prepare grant proposals to secure financial resources for research and policy initiatives, ensuring the sustainability of the office's programs and projects.

This office serves as the intellectual hub of the Madina Center for Education and Policy, blending rigorous research with actionable solutions to foster meaningful educational reforms in Madina.

 

 

Programs and Communication Office

 

Role: Oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of educational programs and initiatives, manages the scheme’s public image, and ensures effective dissemination of information

 

Responsibilities:

o Design and implement community-driven educational projects.

o Ensure programs align with the needs of students, teachers, and parents in Madina.

o Collaborate with other units to integrate think tank outputs into programs.

o Develop and execute communication strategies to raise awareness about initiatives.

o Utilize social media and traditional media to reach diverse audiences.

Act as the primary contact point for public inquiries and feedback.

 

Education Partnerships and Community Engagement Office

 

Role: Establishes and nurtures partnerships with educational institutions, NGOs, and private sector actors and promotes active involvement of the Madina community in education-related activities.

 

Responsibilities:

o Identify and engage potential partners to support the scheme’s initiatives.

o Coordinate joint programs and resource mobilization efforts.

o Build networks to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.

o Organize forums and campaigns to engage parents and community members.

o Address concerns and gather input from stakeholders.

o Foster a collaborative environment for educational development.

 

 

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Training and Support Office

 

Role: Tracks and assesses the impact of the scheme’s initiatives and programs and enhances the professional capabilities of educators within the constituency.

 

Responsibilities:

o Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.

o Conduct regular evaluations to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

o Provide feedback and data for informed decision-making.

o Organize workshops, certification programs, and peer learning sessions.

o Provide ongoing support and resources for teacher development.

Address challenges faced by educators to improve retention and performance.

 

 

Finance and Administration Unit

 

Role: Manages financial resources and administrative operations to support the scheme’s goals.

 

Responsibilities:

o Prepare budgets, financial reports, and audits for transparency and accountability.

o Ensure efficient administrative support for smooth operations.

o Monitor funding and resource allocation for various projects.

Design and seek sponsorship for all projects and programs.
