The Madina Centre for Education and Policy (MCEP) is a research-driven think tank and policy institution focused on education, governance, and capacity-building initiatives. Our mission is to foster academic excellence, policy innovation, and international collaboration to improve education systems in Ghana. MCEP operates as a strategic hub for research, advocacy, and implementation of educational policies aligned with national development goals.

 

MCEP is registered as a limited liability entity, dedicated to supporting education through scholarship assistance, teacher training, research, and specialized educational services that accelerate Ghana’s industrial and digital transformation. By leveraging policy insights, stakeholder engagement, and technological innovations, we empower educators, students, and policymakers to drive sustainable national development.

 

At the core of our operations is the Research and Policy Office (Think Tank Core), which conducts data-driven analysis to inform education and policy reforms. Our Programs and Communication Office ensures the effective execution of initiatives while maintaining strong stakeholder relations. Through the Education Partnership and Community Engagement Office, we foster inclusive learning environments and facilitate cross-sector collaborations.

 

To assess and enhance the effectiveness of our programs, the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Training Support Office implements rigorous assessments and capacity-building strategies. Financial sustainability and operational excellence are overseen by our Finance and Administration Office, which provides governance and strategic oversight. Led by a CEO, Deputy CEO, and a team of Directors, we are committed to transforming education through research, advocacy, and evidence-based solutions.

 

Additionally, MCEP operates a Centre for Professional Development, collaborating with local and international partners to offer diploma and certificate programs for deserving students in Ghana. This initiative expands access to higher education and vocational training, equipping learners with skills for career advancement and national development.
